We adopted the sweetest little pup. We weren't looking for another furbaby but I saw her on Save a Stray's facebook page and knew we had to have her. She's a somewhere-around-6-years-old chocolate dachshund.
This was her first night with us. She was so excited I could barely get her to sit still for a picture. She loves to give kisses!
Piper and Bella have some of the same mannerisms but I think it's going to take Bella some time to get used to having another girl doxie around. She keeps her distance while still trying to check Piper out.
As you can see, she is very much at home and we love her already. I was a little hesitant at first because Shooter and Bella have been our babies for so long. Bella sleeps in the bed with us. I didn't want them to feel like they were being pushed aside. But, if anything, I feel like I'm making more of an effort to love each of them the same. You know, taking time to pet and snuggle with each of them. I probably sound like the crazy dog lady. Is this how people with multiple children feel?
